Rental Terms

1. Contracting Parties

The moving boxes are rented out by PakuOvelle.Com Oy, Vetokuja 4, Vantaa, Business ID 1912128-3 (hereinafter the "Rental Company"), and the lessee (hereinafter the "Customer").

2. Rental Period and Use of the Boxes

The rental period is calculated from the day the boxes are delivered to the address specified by the Customer and ends on the day they are collected from the address specified by the Customer.

The boxes must not be used to transport or store goods or substances that could damage them, such as plaster, paint, oil or other similar substances. The Customer is responsible for the boxes for the entire duration of the rental. The boxes must be returned clean and undamaged. A charge of €20 per box will be applied for any missing, damaged or broken boxes.

3. Delivery

The boxes are delivered and collected within the time frames specified at the time of ordering, to and from the front door of the flat, or to street level in buildings without a lift. The standard delivery fee does not apply to locations that cannot be reached by van via road (e.g. an archipelago location with no bridge connection). In such cases, a separate delivery quote must be requested by email from asiakaspalvelu@opiskelijamuutot.fi

4. Payment

Rental and transport fees must be paid online within 12 hours of making the booking for the order to become binding. When making the payment, the Customer must verify their identity using online banking credentials and must hold a Finnish personal identity code.

5. Customer's Liability for Damages

If the Customer breaches the terms of this agreement, the Rental Company has the right to terminate the agreement and reclaim the rented items. If the rented items have not been returned to the Rental Company within 10 days of the agreement being terminated, the Customer must pay €20 per box for any boxes not returned.

6. Amendment and Cancellation Terms

The Customer may amend or cancel an existing booking up until 24 hours before the booking is due to begin. If a booking is cancelled, the amount paid will be issued to the Customer as a City Voucher, valid for one year. If a booking is shortened and the new booking is cheaper than the amount already paid, the difference will be issued to the Customer as a City Voucher, valid for one year.

The Customer may extend the rental period if the boxes have already been delivered to the Customer. The extension must be requested at least 24 hours before the agreed collection time and must be paid for within 12 hours of the change.
