How is the price of a move calculated?
The price of a move is calculated in hours. Charging starts when the moving truck leaves our depot and ends when it returns there. That way you pay according to the move's actual duration.
The duration of a move is affected by:
the length of the moving journey
the number of floors and the availability of lifts
the size of the home and the amount of belongings
the conditions of the move
The size of the home, the amount of belongings and the conditions also determine how many staff are needed on moving day. When you leave a quote request, our customer service calculates a quote to suit your needs. The quote is free and non-binding.
What kind of moving trucks are used for the move?
Our moving trucks are small trucks with a capacity of 20 cubic metres. The trucks are equipped for moving work: as standard they carry surface-protection material, moving equipment, and load straps that secure your belongings safely for the journey.
What is moving day like?
On moving day, our staff handle the move briskly and carefully. The service flexes to last-minute needs too: we can bring more packing supplies if you run out, or collect belongings from another address. Where possible, the schedule can be changed at short notice if there's room in our calendar.

How big a home does one moving truck cover?
One 20-cubic-metre moving truck holds the entire contents of a home of about 40–50 square metres. Larger moves use more than one truck or more than one load.

Where possible, yes. If there's room in our calendar, the schedule can be changed even at short notice. Let our customer service know about the change as soon as possible.
Do you also collect belongings from another address during the move?
Yes. We can also collect belongings from another address during the move. Note this in your quote request and we'll take it into account in the schedule and quote.
